What it means for you
Why it matters
Designed for your home

Fitted by a trained installer
Registered Installers join after Nu-Heat guides them through the specification and installation of their first two projects.
A 50-year pipe warranty
Nu-Heat's Fastflo pipe has a 50-year warranty, the first 10 years insurance-backed, and its manifolds have 10 years.

Systems for every floor
How much height does it add?
Renovating? Which system suits depends on how much the floor can rise. These are the minimum build-ups Nu-Heat gives for its systems, before the floor covering goes on.

Floor coverings
Choosing the floor on top
Almost any floor works over underfloor heating, and Nu-Heat allows for yours in the design. Some pass heat better than others, and a few have limits.
- Best heat transfer
Stone and tiles
The most conductive floors. Nu-Heat recommends a decoupling membrane under tiles.
- Best heat transfer
Engineered wood
Nu-Heat's recommended wood floor, ideally with boards up to 150mm wide.
- Within limits
Carpet
Carpet and underlay together no more than 2.5 tog, and ideally under 1.5 with a heat pump.
- Within limits
Laminate
Boards no thicker than 18mm, with the floor kept at 27°C or below.
- Within limits
Vinyl and LVT
Kept below 27°C by a floor sensor, which Nu-Heat provides.
- Check first
Solid wood
Kiln-dried boards only, and not over the low-profile overlay systems.
